We used AI-assisted research to investigate the published sources, then created 18 non-sensitive synthetic records shaped by what those sources expose. It is starter data for exploration—not real service data or evidence.

Eighteen synthetic public comments on local issues, authored for this project across five topics with a stance recorded for each, written to keep the disagreements and the minority views that a real set of responses contains. No real submission was copied and no respondent is imitated.

AI authored fictional comments and stances to preserve disagreement and minority views found in public submissions.

Conditions for use

What this dataset cannot tell you

  • Eighteen comments are far fewer, tidier, and more evenly spread across topics than any real set of responses.
  • The five topics and four stances are this project's own choices, checked against no official framework.
  • A synthetic set cannot contain the thing that matters most about participation: who did not write in, and why.
  • It is invented. No record describes a real person, place, case, or measurement, and no result computed from it is evidence that anything works in a live service.
